ABOUT

ABOUT

Our Story

Anglers Rest Bed & Breakfast is a lovely log cabin built with locally harvested spruce,  situated on a half acre in a quiet area on the edge of town (in ASHA off of Dangerous River Road).

The Space

We operate a 3 bedroom Bed and Breakfast in our private home.  The Bear Den and Moose Rack bunk rooms are separated by a common bathroom in one wing of the cabin.  The Salmon Suite with a queen bed and private bathroom occupies the other wing.  A community kitchen & sitting room with wood stove are in the main cabin. When booking this property understand you are purchasing a single bed. This is not an entirely private property; there may or may not be other guests at the B&B during your stay (but not in your reserved room).

Guest Access

We have a fully outfitted shared kitchen and full size outdoor gas BBQ for cooking.
There is a stainless fish processing table, chest freezer & vacuum sealer available. Bring your own 'food saver' bags.
The wood stove and boot dryer will keep you and your gear warm and dry.

Catch the morning sun with your coffee on the front deck, and the evening sun on the back deck with your cocktail.
Connect with the world on our high-speed WiFi & free US long distance for those without AT&T cell service.
A 16 ft. drift boat is available for rent.
Large on-site parking.

Airport pick-up & drop-off available for a fee.

Interaction with Guests

Our B&B hosts live on site and will be cooking you breakfast on the mornings of your stay.
Our goal is that you enjoy your time spent with us. We love to get to know our guests, exchange travel stories, and help you make your trip up here the best Alaskan experience you can have. Privacy is respected.

GUEST REVIEWS

We stayed in the 4 bed bunk room on a fishing trip to Yakutat and loved it. Our host was wonderful and we enjoyed the wood stove to dry out our fishing gear. We got an early start fishing most mornings but the coffee and breakfast was set out and waiting for us. The location was convenient and quiet with easy access to town and the Situk River.
